On Friday evening I played a concert for 1,000 diners at Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London. I played in The Great Room which is one of the few up market venues in West London that can accommodate 1,000 guests for diner.

I played with my quartet which features another guitar, bass and cajon (a peruvian percussion instrument often used in flamenco music). It was nice to play in a quartet as I have played so many solo concerts recently.

Michael Portillo was guest speaker at the event who is of Spanish ancestry and made a BBC documentary about Spain a couple of years ago so the idea was that we created a Spanish theme. Mr. Portillo requested "Entre Dos Aguas" by Paco De Lucía which was a pleasure to play with the quartet. We also threw in some Gipsy Kings covers and some more traditional flamenco.
