Brazilian and Latin American Music at Tythe Barn

Brazilian and Latin American MusicArgentinean Music On Saturday I played for a wedding at Tythe Barn - a beautiful grade II listed 16th century barn in Hampshire.

This was with a new guitar duo which I have started with the excellent guitarist Jonathan Preiss. We play from the Latin-American repertoire (Brazilian sambas, Argentinean boleros and Cuban dances) and throw in some jazz and popular music too. Here is a sound clip:

I hope to be doing a lot more work with this duo as we have a great repertoire with some fun pieces and it is a pleasure to play with such a talented guitarist. I'll get a page up on the site soon dedicated to the duo's music.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Jon Malyn, an excellent photographer (who took the photos at the top of the page). If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding I can highly recommend Jon. His website is www.indigoperspective.com.
