National Wedding Show, Earls Court

The National Wedding Show went really well this year. There were some great exhibitors and a great vibe. It was lovely to meet all of you who came and said hello. There were a few Brides who asked me to play songs which might work well for their aisle walk and subsequently burst into tears (I was assured that was a compliment).

I met some new faces, one in particular was the excellent cake designer and maker Kiran Mandalia from www.click4acake.com. She started the company from scratch and is doing very well due to her fantastic talent.

A particularly nice end to the fayre was when the nearby designer jeweller came and told me that it had been an absolute pleasure to have a stand near me and that he and his assistants had been guessing the names of the songs I had been playing over the whole weekend. He bought a CD and said he would play it in his shop.

We have now booked up a lot of the popular dates for next year but there are still some spaces so please do still get in contact if you would like me to play at your wedding!

Madrid – A Spanish Wedding

I just received this great photo from my dear friend Lorena’s wedding in Madrid. We had a wonderful time and this photo really captures the atmosphere of the great party we had after the ceremony.

Below is a picture of the ceremony when I accompanied the famous Spanish stand-up Comedienne Maru Candel as she gave a hilarious speech during the ceremony itself.

Cain Manor Wedding

Yesterday I played for a wedding at Cain Manor, near Farnham in Hampshire. As you know, the weather was about as good is it gets and the wedding was splendid. It is the third time I have played this idyllic country venue and when the weather is as nice as it was this weekend it is possible to have the drinks reception in the courtyard.

I played Pachelbel’s Canon in D for the Bride’s aisle walk and Handel’s The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba for the recessional.
